The Twisted Crocodile
it was a unbelievably hot day at the swamp. Sitting on the side of the boat, something strong snatched onto the hook. "dad" i yelled. Dad jumped onto the rod. In the water I saw a glimpse of purple and white twisted scales."Dad do you see this."
"What do you think son I'm in the middle of something." My Dad stood there yanking as hard as he could. Finally Dad caught the crocodile. Me a Dad stood there stunned. "This was very difficult son oh and thanks for helping." Later on that day dad took the crocodile to professor Janks. Professor Janks then investigated this mysterious crocodile.
A creative idea. I like your use of the phrase 'snatched onto the hook' as it creates a picture in my mind. Check for capitals and be sure to read your story out loud to yourself or a friend as you will pick up on small parts to edit. Something we will learn later is every time a new person speaks it starts on a new line.
