Sweet Dreams
It's shaped like the moon, threaded with beautiful shimmery gold beads and feathers that dangle by long black velvety strings. It rests above my bed keeping me from waking up at night. The moonlight shines through my window and casts a silhouette on my wall. I feel relaxed and at ease as I lay my head down, gazing at this magnificent piece of art. As I lay here now staring above me I'm beginning to doze off...I drift away into the deepest of sleeps and let my dreams take me away.
Is it a dreamcatcher? You have used some great language to describe your treasured item. I think your title is very appropriate. You last line is a great way to conclude your piece of writing. Keep it up.
